Dr. Lilian Carter was born in Brazil and at the early age of 15 began her career in Dentistry as a Dental Assistant. She later attended Dental School in Brazil where she received her DDS degree in 2003. She then completed a 1-year fellowship in Periodontics. Afterward, Dr. Carter owned and operated a private dental practice in Brazil while also serving in Public Dentistry for the underserved community.
Dr. Lilian Carter was pursuing a career in advanced dentistry in the United States where she met her future husband, Clay Carter. She then moved to New Braunfels, Texas and joined a private dental practice to work as a Dental Assistant while pursuing her DDS degree in the US. Dr. Lilian Carter then attended UT Health Science Center in San Antonio and received her DDS.
Apart from being a dentist, Dr. Lilian Carter has 3 stepchildren and 2 step-grandchildren, Jude and Zoey. She enjoys cooking for her family and friends. She enjoys reading, personal and professional. She is also an Advanced Open Water Certified Scuba Diver. She is fluent in English, Spanish and Portuguese.
Dr. Lilian Carter is very excited to be joining a First-Class private practice dental office at New Braunfels Dentist with Dr. Robert Heinrich as an associate dentist.
